​The basketball court at Sun Tree Park is very popular with the residents of River Place. The court is full size, and has plenty of sitting areas for onlookers. Make a reservation to play today by clicking here!

The Sun Tree Park is located at 10607 Sun Tree Cove in River Place. Nestled nicely under a shade of trees, this park offers many tables for picnics, two playscapes, a basketball court, two multi-purpose athletic fields, a gazebo to watch the activities from, a work out area, and a pavilion for parties.

The Sun Tree Park Pavilion is located at the north corner of the park. The pavilion has:


  • Six large picnic tables
  • Fans to keep the area cool
  • Two grills
  • Bathrooms

The pavilion is available for rent to River Place Residents and non-River Place residents alike.

The monthly reservation calendar is posted in the pavilion at the beginning of the month with all upcoming reservations as of the first day of the month.

There are two athletic fields at Sun Tree Park. Field 1 is located at the south end of the park (pictured left). Field 2 is located on the west side of the park (pictured right). For information on reserving the athletic fields, contact Art Jistel. 

The playscapes are located underneath a canopy to help maintain a comfortable temperature for the children that are playing. Within the playground, you will find:


  • Ten slides
  • Two tic-tac-toe activity boards
  • Two swing sets with four swings per set (two swings are toddler swings)
  • Four bouncy rides


The playscapes are reserved for children ages two to twelve. If your child does not fit within this age range, you may try one of the activities below. 

The gazebo at Sun Tree Park is a nice place to sit and read a book. The gazebo seats 8-10 people on the bench inside, and is located on the south side of Soccer Field 2. The gazebo is first come, first serve, so get to the park early to claim your spot.
