Andrew Baker, an Eagle Scout with Troop 159, will be working with Arthur Jistel, Park Manager, to restore and replace approximately 200 linear feet of handrails along the Boardwalk. 

The total project cost is $1,450, which covers all materials, stain, and labor. 

Through these donations, the handrails will be restored by:

• Removing all damaged wood from the base of the handrails
• Replacing with new, sturdy 1x6 cedar wood planks for enhanced safety and durability
• Applying a protective cedar-specific stain to the new wood to prevent deterioration and UV damage
