Tennis Rules

V.            Section 1.05  Tennis Court Rules and Regulations Including the Program at Woodlands Park 

(a)   Tennis Membership:

(i)  Memberships last for one year;

(ii)   Residents of the District shall pay a $50 membership fee annually.

(iii)  Non-Residents of the District shall pay a $100 membership fee annually.

(b)   Refunds will not be issued for canceled or unused tennis memberships for any reason

(c) The District’s tennis courts shall be for the use of tennis members only.  The member making the reservation must be on the court.  Members may not share their online accounts with others (outside of their immediate families) and may not engage in deceptive behavior when reserving the courts.

(d)   Tennis courts are for tennis use only.

(e)   Tennis members can book a tennis court up to four (4) times within a seven-day (7) period.

(f)    Reservations for the tennis courts can be made a maximum of seven (7) days in advance. The District asks that members provide the courtesy of canceling any reservation in a timely fashion to allow others to utilize the courts.

(g)   A court may only be reserved for 30 minutes minimum, and 90 minutes maximum. Members arriving 15 or more minutes after their scheduled reservation shall forfeit their reservations.

(h)   From sunrise to noon on Saturdays, both tennis courts (No. 1 and No. 2) are reserved for Residents of the District’s use only.

(i)     Tennis court reservations have priority over “drop-in” usage.

(j)     Tennis members shall sign the indemnification waiver prior to accessing the courts.

(k)   Dangerous or offensive conduct or language is prohibited on the tennis courts. If this type  of behavior occurs, members will be asked to leave the tennis courts.

(l)     Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited inside the fenced court areas.

(m) Shoes with black soles are prohibited on the tennis courts.

(n)   Pets, bicycles, skateboards, chalk use, roller blades, gum, and/or motorized vehicles are prohibited inside the fenced court areas.

(o)   Children must have adult supervision at all times.

(p)   All members must sign a waiver.

(q)   The Limited District currently allows tennis instructors to provide lessons at Woodlands Park.  However, if lessons create undue congestion at the courts for Resident play, then these rules may be modified.

(r) Tennis instructors:

(i) All tennis instructors that charge a fee for services must register with the Limited District at mailto:Parks@inframark.comParks@inframark.com and provide their:

i. First and last name

ii. Address

iii. Telephone number

(ii)  ALL clients of paid instructors must be paid members with a Tennis Membership. If you are on the court with a paid instructor you must have a Tennis Membership.

(iii)  Paid instructors may not reserve courts for paid lessons. Their clients must make the reservation and then bring in the instructor.

(iv) Paid instructors are responsible for ensuring ALL of their clients have up to date paid Tennis Memberships.

(v)   Tennis instructors may occupy the tennis courts for no more than 20 hours per week

(vi)  All clients of tennis instructors must be members who hold an annual tennis court membership, which membership must be current and in good standing. Instructors are responsible for ensuring that their clients’ accounts are in good standing. 

(vii)  Tennis instructors shall treat other tennis instructors and all tennis members with respect

(viii)  Tennis instructors shall also abide by all rules applicable to tennis members
